Intelliden Corporation Appoints Chris Turner Vice President of Sales
--Proven Sales Executive Joins Intelliden Team to Continue Company Momentum and Drive Revenue Growth; Will Establish Intelliden Boston Office Dedicated to Sales and Support--
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 21, 2003 - Intelliden Corporation, a leading provider of on demand, business-driven device management solutions, today appointed Chris Turner as its new vice president of sales and support. A seasoned professional with successful tenure at companies such as IBM Corporation and Akamai Technologies, Inc., Turner brings to Intelliden extensive experience selling communications applications and IT infrastructure to the corporate enterprise and service provider markets.

Turner was most recently senior vice president of global sales at Akamai Technologies. He led sales during the company’s growth from $4 million to $90 million in just over one year, and helped Akamai reach its October 1999 IPO. In addition to directing domestic and international sales, account management and technical consulting, he led and designed Akamai’s channel strategy and established partnerships with companies such as IBM, EDS, Compaq, KPNQwest, British Telecom and Telefonica. Prior to working for Akamai, Turner was at IBM for nine years, holding several senior sales management positions in new business and large account marketing. He also served in the IBM Internet Division, leading an international team in the development of solutions for the Internet service provider market. Turner holds a B.A. degree with a double major in international business and political science from Ohio Wesleyan University, and will receive an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School this June.
In his role as vice president of sales, Turner is responsible for Intelliden sales activities, professional services and technical support. He will also be expanding the company’s operations and establishing an Intelliden Boston office in Waltham, Mass., dedicated to sales and support. Intelliden, backed by leading investors including Boston-based Matrix Partners and international venture capital firm 3i, has announced leading customers including British Telecom, and is a partner with companies such as Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks and IBM, among others. The company has 33 patents pending on its software solutions.
