Intelliden R-Series Software Certified Ready For IBM Tivoli
--Intelliden Integrates Powerful Intelligent Networking Capabilities With IBM Tivoli NetView and IBM Tivoli Access Manager--
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 24, 2003 - Intelliden Corporation, the intelligent networking company, today announced that its Intelliden R-Series™ software suite has been successfully integrated with IBM Tivoli NetView and IBM Tivoli Access Manager and certified as Ready for IBM Tivoli software. With this certification, IBM Tivoli customers can securely and easily deploy Intelliden software solutions within their service provider, enterprise and government environments to increase network control, automate service management, improve network security, and increase optimization across their Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructures.
“This is a very important systems management milestone. By using the Intelliden R-Series, IBM Tivoli customers can now perform end-to-end service and configuration management of routers, switches, optics and firewalls,” said Rich Ptak, president and CEO, Ptak and Associates. “And now when they detect a router, switch, optical or firewall problem, they can—via the Intelliden R-Series—bring the device back online. The bottom line is that this integration enables IBM Tivoli customers to further link their network and IT resources with their business priorities.”
In passing IBM’s world-class certification process, the Intelliden R-Series improves the efficiency and control of IP networks by enabling IBM Tivoli customers to automate end-to-end service management, change management and configuration management of network devices. IBM Tivoli customers can detect a network device problem and now with Intelliden they can also view the device configuration, diagnose the problem, run detailed reports and bring the device back online with minimal manual intervention.
