Network driven organizations spend significant resources in deploying, operating and maintaining their IP networks. Despite the mission critical nature of these networks, many organizations suffer from stranded network assets, dirty inventory and related data integrity problems. Traditional network reconciliation solutions – consisting of manual processes, home grown scripts or periodic batch synchronization methods – are inadequate for meeting the requirements of today’s dynamic, multi-vendor converged networks. They are also often disconnected with systems and processes such as network configuration management and provisioning, which are responsible for bulk of the network changes.

Intelliden’s Discovery and Reconciliation (D&R) application provides real-time and continuous reconciliation of network resource data.  It improves inventory accuracy through real-time detection of network changes and rapid remediation of those changes with third party systems such as Inventory, Fault Management and CMDB.

Intelliden Discovery and Reconciliation (D&R) is designed specifically for multi-vendor converged IP networks, and provides real-time and continuous reconciliation of network resource data. It can detect any changes to network assets as they occur and remediate with third party applications. This helps to reduce “inventory drift” i.e. increasing discrepancy between actually provisioned network assets and database of record applications such as inventory.  Finally it provides a seamless integration with Intelliden’s network configuration, compliance and provisioning applications thereby enabling early detection of network changes.
